Call For Attendance 19th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling October 9-12, 2000, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA www.er2000.byu.edu Venue: The first ER Conference of the new millennium will be held in scenic Salt Lake City, Utah, nestled among the majestic Wasatch Mountains. Salt Lake City is the site of the 2002 Winter Olympics, and attendees will be able to visit many of the Olympic venues. Utah, the state with the highest concentration of Na- tional Parks in the United States, is known for its natural beauty. Within a few hours' drive there are forested mountains, world-class fishing streams and lakes, red-rock natural stone arches and other geo- logical formations, spectacular canyons, and dino- saur fossils - just to name a few. Conference Scope: This conference was originally devoted to the Entity- Relationship (ER) model, but has expanded to in- clude many types of semantic data modeling, behav- ior and process modeling, object-oriented systems modeling, and modeling for Web-based applications.
